The Fourth Annual Green Building Expo brings top of the line speakers and trade show to Ohio. Our speakers have been interviewed on the Fred Andrle’s Show and WOSU TV’s Viewpoint. You don’t have to spend hundreds of dollars traveling to other cities to see them – the Expo workshops, Keynote and trade show are so affordable that in the past three years, thousands of attendees have taken full advantage of them!

The photo display area will feature images of Green projects on poster boards and self-standing easels. Each photo display area measures four feet in length.
Wind Energy Offset
A complete carbon footprint offset for the full-day conference provided by Renewable Choice Energy! The donation goes to avoiding 11,040 lbs of CO2 emitted through attendee travel and 1,474.16 kilowatt hours to power the conference – offsetting a total of 13,049.29 lbs of CO2 in the atmosphere.

Mayor Coleman and Mark Shanahan, energy advisor to the Governor, will welcome Mayor Anderson at the keynote with eminent scientist Lonnie Thompson offering the vote of thanks.

Since taking office in 2000, Mayor Anderson has been an outspoken advocate for protecting the environment. He committed Salt Lake City, in its own operations, to meet or beat the terms of the Kyoto Protocol. By 2005, Salt Lake City far exceeded its Kyoto goal, seven years before the Protocol’s 2012 target date.
In November 2005, Salt Lake City won the World Leadership Award for the environment for its Salt Lake City Green Program, perhaps the most comprehensive environmental program in the United States.
Mayor Anderson was also named by Business Week as one of the top twenty international figures working to combat climate change. Mayor Anderson serves as a member of the Newsweek Global Environment and Leadership Advisory Committee, and is on the steering committee of The Climate Group. In 2003, he received the Climate Protection Award from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
